What is SIP by SIP by SIP? #stayindoorsplease by #stayinvested & by doing #systematicinvestmentplan
We all are staying indoors due to Lock down imposed by the Government to contain the spread of Virus. Though the spread has been reduced in some areas, but overall growth rate is still on the higher side. We are not sure whether they will extend this lock down, even if it is revoked, we are not sure what will happen to the Industries, Economy and the Financial Markets. Already markets are down and increase in the Covid cases has put lot of negativity in the minds of the people.
The government is asking us to stay indoor and not to venture out at any circumstances and we advisor community is asking our clients to stay invested and this too shall pass. To give a comic perspective to the current dull and negative outlook, Axis Mutual Fund has come out with a campaign #stayindoorsplease and #stayinvested.
I really liked the campaign as it is explaining the concept through comic route, and this will surely get a place in everyone’s mind. The campaign tries to explain three important points:
- Stay away from Hot Tips – normally during this time we get lot of information, that this is the next hot stock or hot sector. Post covid these sectors will do good etc. No one really knows what will be the after effect of this situation to the economy and industries, so its better to stay safe from these Ideas.
- Don’t act on Short Term Market Movements – during these uncertain times, markets too react on lot of news inputs and it will be very volatile. Its better to keep invested during these times, please don’t break your heads Breaking News and don’t act on Source Based news channels.

- Take Expert Opinion – always talk to your advisor / distributor before taking any decision. If you are a DIY investor, sit in a relax mode and think about your goals, risk position, future cash flows etc and decide. I really liked this image 🙂 ♥
